This is my first official post ever. I'm a little intimidated by the blogging world I admit. However, this is one of the items on my "things I get to do since I'm not working next year" list. It may last only a season, but I thought I would at least attempt it.
Our life was dramatically changed 8 months ago, when D.L. Morton entered our lives. He is a true gift from the Lord. And since I found out that these blogs can be turned into a book, I am motivated to record at least some highlights from our day to day life in hopes of passing them down to him one day.
So here goes!

The Morton Memoir begins...
We are venturing into the blogging world my friends. I'm not sure how successful it will be, but we are going to give it whirl. I have to credit Clay with the blog title. Don't you have to use alliteration in the title? At least that's what I've noticed in all the support newsletters we receive. So Morton Memoir seemed a perfect fit for this unspoken rule.
We hope this will be a way to connect with friends and family (Sarah in L.A.) who do not live in close to us. How great is the age we live in where at the touch of the keyboard you can be connected to loved ones thousands of miles away!
